NM&SC 2018 National Meeting
The University of Nebraska Medical Center, through the Interprofessional Experiential Center for Enduring Learning (iEXCEL), is pleased to host the 2018 NM&SC National Meeting. September will be an ideal month in Omaha, providing intriguing venues for key meetings & presentations, stimulating speakers, and attendee tours, as well as event options for families. Poised to transform healthcare education, UNMC and iEXCEL will showcase its work to propel the training of Health Care professionals into the next generation through the adoption of emerging virtual and augmented reality, as well as advanced clinical simulation and surgical skills training.
During the meeting, attendees will be able to tour a number of exciting and innovative areas at UNMC including the iEXCEL Visualization Hub, the Nebraska Biocontainment Unit, the Center for Advanced Surgical Technology, the Mind and Brain Health Labs and, subject to construction progress, the Davis Global Center, a new ‘state-of the-art” facility opening in Spring of 2019. As the new headquarters for iEXCEL, the Davis Global Center will provide almost 200,000 sq. ft. of clinical & surgical simulation and visualization space.

NM&SC 2017 National Meeting
The 2017 NM&SC National Meeting was held in Dearborn, MI, September 25-26, 2017. The theme for the meeting was MS&V: Revolutionizing analytics, manufacturing, healthcare and product design – and the need to train the workforce to support it.
