New book about Modeling & Simulation
A 2017 book, The Profession of Modeling and Simulation: Discipline, Ethics, Education, Vocation, Societies, and Economics, has been published by Wiley and Sons. Edited by Andreas Tolk and Tuncer Oren, two of longstanding experience in the M&S community. A number of the chapter authors are NM&SC members.
Alfred (Al) Grasso, President & CEO, The MITRE Corporation, has this to say about the book:
“ … nearly three dozen experts in Modeling and Simulation (M&S) come together to make a compelling case for the recognition of M&S as a profession… Important reading for anyone seeking to elevate the standing of this vital field.” It is available from Wiley.
